Lexington Park District
 Summer Baseball League
Lexington is part of the Southeast McLean County Travel League.  This league is comprised of teams from Blue Ridge, Colfax, El Paso/Gridley, Farmer City, Fieldcrest, Flanagan, Gibson City, Heyworth, LeRoy, Lexington, Mansfield, and Tri-Valley.

The Southeast McLean County Travel League is divided into four divisions.
Division is determined by players age as of 4/30, not their grade level.

Machine Pitch (Ages 8 & Under)
Minors (Ages 10 & Under)
Majors (Ages 12 & Under)
Intermediate (Ages 14 & Under)

Baseball practices are determined by the coaches at each level.  Games are usually on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, but can occasionally be on other days.  The season ends either before July 4th or the first week after July 4th, depending on they of the week July 4th is on and the weather.

The focus of the youth baseball program is for every player to play during a game.  This particular league is a participation league.  Players will have equal amount of playing time regardless of their ability during the regular season.  Coaches are instructed to teach the young baseball players how to throw, run, field and learn the rules in order to facilitate their progression towards high school baseball.
