Lexington is part of the Southeast McLean County Travel League. This league is comprised of teams from Blue Ridge, Colfax, El Paso/Gridley, Farmer City, Fieldcrest, Flanagan, Gibson City, Heyworth, LeRoy, Lexington, Mansfield, and Tri-Valley.
The Southeast McLean County Travel League is divided into four divisions.
Division is determined by players age as of 4/30, not their grade level.
8U-machine pitch (Ages 8 & under)
10U (Ages 10 & under)
12U (Ages 12 & under)
14U (Ages 14 & under)
Practice times and days are determined by the coaches at each level. Practices start on or around April 1st. Games begin early May with the end of season tournament at the end of June.
The focus of the youth softball program is for every player to play during a game. This particular league is a participation league. Players will have equal amount of playing time regardless of their ability during the regular season. Coaches are instructed to teach the young softball players how to throw, run, field and learn the rules in order to facilitate their progression towards junior high and high school softball.
Registration is now closed for the 2025 season.
